Business Basics Grant Round 6
for Queensland businesses
Round 6 of the Brisbane Basics Grant opens at 9am Monday 30th September 2024 with a Registration of Interest – see guidelines.
The program is competitive, meaning that applications are competitively assessed against the assessment criteria and not all applications will be funded. You have until 5pm on Friday 11 October to submit a Registration of Interest.
This round is focused on business enhancement. Funding of $7500 is available for grant funded activities in
- Professional business advice
- Strategic marketing services
- Website build and upgrades.
So if you’re looking for a new or upgraded website, business mentoring and guidance, or need strategic marketing services including SEO optimisation, check the eligibility criteria below and get in touch.
Applicants must (at the time of applying)
• have fewer than 5 employees
• be operating and have an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
• have a Queensland headquarters
• have a maximum turnover of $300,000 for the last financial year (2023-2024)
• not have been approved for funding under an earlier round of Business Basics
• have owners/directors that are not undischarged bankrupt and be solvent.
Please note there is no requirement to be registered for GST in this round.
Selected applicants (chosen by ballot) will then be invited to submit a full application including a supplier quote.
This year we are including branding and / or photography services with our web design packages, depending on what your requirements are. We are also partnering with Donna Stone – Stone Business Coaching to provide a package including professional business advice.

What’s the process
Firstly submit your Registration of Interest. If you’re invited to progress to Stage 2, contact us for a chat about what you’re looking for in regards to this grant. We’ll get together on Zoom and have a chat about what your needs are, and how to best position yourself for success. We’ve helped many happy clients be successful in previous rounds,
We’ll then provide a detailed proposal for you to submit with your application.
